Where to take?
1. BATTERIES AND ACCUMULATORS
The principle of collecting old batteries and rechargeable accumulators – all stores selling new batteries and rechargeable accumulators are obligated to collect old ones. The largest retail chains collecting batteries and rechargeable accumulators removed from use are: Rimi, Maxima, Prisma, Euronics, K-Rauta Bauhof etc.
2. OLD HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES
Waste stations at retailers being members of EES-Ringlus
Every store selling electrical and electronic equipment with a sales area of at least 400m2 accepts small (up to 25 cm in size) electrical and electronic equipment waste from end users, regardless of whether the same type of equipment is sold or whether a new device is purchased.
If there is no separate collection point/waste station for electrical and electronic equipment within a 10 km radius of the store (along public roads), the store accepts waste of the same type and purpose as the equipment being sold from the end user, regardless of whether a new one is purchased.
When selling an electrical and electronic device, the store has to take back the same type of equipment 1:1.
